Media Alliance student days announced
MEAA: Dates for the annual Walkleys MediaPass Student Industry Days have been announced. Adelaide August 14; Melbourne August 21; Sydney August 28; Perth September 10; Brisbane September 18. Religion & media
The Second International Conference on Religion and Media will be
held in Tehran and Qom, Iran, from November 9th to 12th, 2008. We
cordially invite all media researchers and scholars, representatives
from diverse religious traditions, professionals and students
involved with the subjects of the conference to attend and submit a

Media Alliance snippets
Following the success of the Sydney Future of Journalism summit in May, the Alliance has decided to take the show on the road. First stop, Brisbane on Saturday September 13 at QUT Gardens Theatre. Speakers booked in include David Fagan, editor-in-chief of the Courier Mail, blogger extraordinaire Mark Bahnisch, APN’s general manager Hugh Martin and a host of top journalists, bloggers and academics.
